Did Isa Al-Masih Dishonor His Mother?

Some people charge Isa Mesih with dishonoring his mother. It is a baseless charge. Indeed in Matthew chapter 12 Isa Mesih taught his listeners that everyone who does the will of the Father is as near to him as his mother or his brothers. There is nothing here that indicates that Isa Mesih did not honor his mother, nor that he did not take time to speak with her. Clearly what happened at Isa Mesih’s crucifixion reveals how He loved and cared for His mother. In the midst of his own deep suffering, Isa Mesih made provision for the care of his mother.
Injil John 19:26 When Jesus saw his motherj there, and the disciple whom he lovedk standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,b here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
