Are You A Muslim Carrying A Load of Sin?

This statement is true, “No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another…” (Qs. 6:164). No one who bears the burden of sin can bear the burden of another. But what if there was someone who had no burden of His own?  Can’t he then bear the burden of another? Yes, He can. The angel that appeared to Mary announced that her miraculous son would have no burden of his own. He called Him “a holy son” (Qs 19:19). This special son is Isa Mesih (Jesus Christ).

The Holy Son Bore Our Sins

Long before He was born, Isaiah prophesied saying, “He took our infirmities and carried our sorrows…We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way and the Lord laid on him the iniquity (sin) of us all” (Prophet Isaiah 53:4-6). When Isa died on the cross, He was bearing the burden of your sin and my sin. He could do this for He was “a holy son” and without sin.  The apostle Peter writes, “He (Jesus) himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness . . . ” (I Peter 2:24).

We All Need Isa Mesih to Bear Our Burden of Sin

Yes, we are all included in the people that went astray. We all chose our own way, the way of sin that leads to Hell. But there is good news! Because God loves us, He provided a burden-bearer, a sin-bearer for us. Now He offers us the holiness and righteousness of Isa Mesih.

He never sinned, but lovingly took our burden of sin. Now Jesus Christ calls out, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Injil, Matthew 11:28).  This is good news indeed. Do it today!  Come to Him!  He will take away your sin!  He will give you true rest!
